Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is a highly effective tool for removing spyware, trojans, and malware from your PC. In the past, our technicians would use a combination of Ad Aware SE, SpyBot, and CounterSpy in order to remove crud from customers machines.

Although there is no "all-in-one" product for removing all types of crud, Malwarebytes is about as close as it gets. With fast system scans, thorough removal of items, active quarantine, and easy updates, Malwarebytes is a must have for anyone running a Microsoft Windows operating system.

Always make sure to run the update before scanning to make sure that you have the latest definition files. Otherwise, new spyware and malware may not be detected properly. Also, please note that using this product is NOT an alternative to an anti-virus program. This program should be ran in addition to your anti-virus.

If you can remember to manually run the scans and updates, the free version should suite you well. However, if you purchase the full version, you will have the option to schedule updates and scans.
