How to install Tomato v1.25 on WRT54g V2

tomatoIn this how to we will change the firmware on a Linksys WRT54G router to the Tomato firmware v1.25.

Tomato is a small, lean and simple replacement firmware for Linksys' WRT54G/GL/GS, Buffalo WHR-G54S/WHR-HP-G54 and other
Broadcom-based routers.

Tomato features a new easy to use GUI, a new bandwidth usage monitor, more advanced QOS and access
restrictions, enables new wireless features such as WDS and wireless client modes, raises the limits on maximum connections for P2P, allows you to run telnet/ssh in and do all sorts of things like re-program the SES/AOSS button, adds wireless site survey to see your wifi neighbors, and more.

*Note
- This will not work on Linksys WRT54G/GS v5 or newer WRT54G/GS routers.
- Before you start you may need to download 7zip to unzip the tomato firmware package.

Goto http://www.polarcloud.com/tomato and download the newest version of the tomato firmware.
Open the Linksys GUI in your web browser. The default URL is http://192.168.1.1/
Click the Administration tab, then Firmware Upgrade.
Select and upload the file WRT54G_WRT54GL.bin and click Upgrade.
Wait for about 2 minutes while the firmware is uploaded & flashed.
Finally open the Tomato GUI in your browser by going to the URL http://192.168.1.1/ and logging in.
